We offer certification classes for both the Oregon Concealed Handgun License (CHL) and the Utah Concealed Firearms Permit (CFP). These courses are designed for individuals seeking to enhance their personal security and legally carry concealed firearms. Whether you’re new to firearms or looking to expand your knowledge, our comprehensive training will guide you through the essential legal, safety, and practical aspects of concealed carry.

Oregon Concealed Handgun License (CHL)

NOTE: The Oregon CHL is NOT recognized by Washington State.

In this class, students will receive in-depth instruction on Oregon’s concealed handgun laws, firearm safety, handling techniques, and proper storage practices. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to apply for the Oregon Concealed Handgun License (CHL) through their local Sherriff's Office.

Eligibility and Benefits:

• Legally carry a concealed handgun in Oregon.
• Recognized in some states with reciprocity agreements.
• Carry in designated public places as permitted by law.
• Peace of mind knowing you are legally prepared to defend yourself when necessary.

*There is a required fee that needs to be paid to the Sherriff's Department in the county that you reside in before you can receive your Oregon CHL. This fee is NOT paid to Goliath Defense, LLC and varies depending on your county.

Utah Concealed Firearms Permit (CFP)

The Non-Resident Utah Concealed Firearms Permit is one of the most widely recognized concealed carry permits in the United States. This class covers Utah’s laws, safety guidelines, and firearm handling, along with specific details on how to meet the requirements for this multi-state permit.

Eligibility and Benefits:

• Recognized in over 30 states (reciprocity agreements vary by state).
• Use your Utah license to legally carry concealed in other states that honor Utah’s permit.
• Learn the essential knowledge to responsibly carry and protect yourself.
• This permit allows individuals to carry concealed in Washington State.
• The Utah CFP is the least expensive way for Oregon residents to be eligible to carry concealed in Washington State.

Taking this class provides essential training to ensure that students are well-prepared to exercise their concealed carry rights responsibly. Upon completion, students will be able to apply for their Utah Concealed Firearms Permit by sending in required documentation which is covered and handled in the classroom.

We provide all of the necessary application materials including fingerprinting, passport photos, and a pre-paid envelope to send to the Utah Department of Public Safety where they will process your certification and mail you your Utah CFP within 60 days.

*There is a required fee of $62 that you will need to pay to the Utah Department of Public Safety to receive your permit. This fee does not go to Goliath Defense, LLC.
